CHAD Industries and Alpha Omega Power Technologies announced today that
they have agreed to co-market their products for the solar manufacturing
market for PV and CPV products. The agreement is intended to benefit the
market by making it easier to obtain fully integrated solar simulated
test systems and solar cell sorters.
CHAD Industries provides solar cell test and sort systems as well as
other solar manufacturing automation equipment. Alpha Omega provides
solar simulators based on flashed Xenon lamp sources for individual
cells and receivers, all the way up to complete modules, from one-sun to
2000-sun magnification requirements.
Scott Klimczak, President of CHAD Industries, pointed out, “Customers
are looking for complete solutions. Teaming up with Alpha Omega enables
us to offer customers a turnkey test and sort system based on a very
high quality solar simulator system. In addition, the variety of
products offered by AOPT allows us to provide systems for high and low
production environments, both for PV and CPV products.”
Ray Cravey, President of Alpha Omega Power Technologies, added, “Our
experience with pulsed solar simulators, CPV testers, and other test
equipment allows us to address customers’ specific test requirements.
Working together with CHAD allows us to complement that by offering our
customers the complete spectrum of integration, from a simple bench test
system for product development to full scale automated production
system.”
Alpha Omega Power Technologies is privately owned and is based in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition to solar simulators AOPT provides
other specialty high voltage pulse generation products and precision ion
beam surface treatment systems, as well as engineering design services.
